Sports occupy an important place in tribal tradition. Tribals are known for their physical stamina and mental prowess. However, they lag behind in the field of sports because of lack of exposure and opportunity. Recognizing this, KISS has made arrangements to hone skills of tribal children in various organized sports. They are trained in modern training facilities created for rugby, football, hockey, archery, shooting, volleyball, etc under competent national and international coaches. Exceeding all expectations, tribal students of KISS have made the country, State of Odisha, tribal community and KISS proud, winning international Rugby tournaments in U.K., Australia, France, Laos, etc. They regularly win accolades at national and state level in various sports. Outstanding achievements of KISS tribal students at international and national level sports meets prove the effectiveness of KISS' model of tribal empowerment.

KISS +2 students participated in Inter College Kho-Kho (Boys & Girls) tournament 2011-12 organised by CHSE, Odisha. KISS bagged Champion Trophy in both Boys & Girls division.

Kabita Sisha, Std VI, KISS was selected in Odisha Girls Sub-Junior Kabadi team for participation in the 23rd National Sub-Junior Kabadi Championship in Hyderabad from 4th to 7th November 2011.
Bhagyalaxmi Barik and Samyukta Munda of KISS selected to participate in the Probable Indian Women Rugby Team 2011.
Chaturanand Marandi, has been selected to play as a part of the Odisha Team in National School-level Football Tournament 2011.
Bhagyalaxmi Barik represented India in the 16th Asian Games at Guangzhou, China. (2010).

KISS Senior Boys Rugby Team participated in the 'Calahana Cup' – All India Rugby Tournament 2010.

KISS students won four silver medals and two Bronze Medals at the National Junior Kick Boxing Championship. Students-Manoj Kumar Dehurry (Kandha), Nepal Kutruka (Kandha), Ajit Kumar Bhumij (Bhumija), Sauna Murmu (Santal), Rahul Kumar Nail (Bathudi), Jatia Munda (Munda), Alais Roscart Bage (Munda), Bhadu Hembram (Santal) and Augustin Xalxo (Oram).
Nine KISS students participated in National Softball Championship 2010 held in Puducherry. Students-Amai Marndi, Naren Soren, Somanath Bandia, Binod Murmu and Mangal Tudu (boys). Payal Majhi, Rajani Hembram, Kuni Gaipai and Khitisuta Patra (girls).
12 students of KISS represented Odisha Team at the Mini National Volleyball Championship for Boys and Girls held in Chennai. 2010.
16 member Hockey team of KISS participated in the State Level Women’s Sports Festival in Hockey 2010-11 held in Chennai.
