Sports occupy an important place in tribal tradition. Tribals are known for their physical stamina and mental prowess. However, they lag behind in the field of sports because of lack of exposure and opportunity. Recognizing this, KISS has made arrangements to hone skills of tribal children in various organized sports. They are trained in modern training facilities created for rugby, football, hockey, archery, shooting, volleyball, etc under competent national and international coaches. Exceeding all expectations, tribal students of KISS have made the country, State of Odisha, tribal community and KISS proud, winning international Rugby tournaments in U.K., Australia, France, Laos, etc. They regularly win accolades at national and state level in various sports. Outstanding achievements of KISS tribal students at international and national level sports meets prove the effectiveness of KISS' model of tribal empowerment.
     

KISS wins Champions Trophy in PVR Murthy Inter-School Cricket Tournament - 2013 by defeating DAV School, Cuttack.

KISS (Boys) won the Coca-Cola Trophy 2013 at the Coca-Cola Inter School Football Tournament held in Bhubaneswar.

KISS students participated & won several cash prizes at Mother's Mini Marathon held on the occassion of Mother's day 2013 organized by Mother's Business School, Bhubaneswar.

KISS Rugby team emerged Champions in the Plate Final at the 4th Howrah 7s Rugby Tournament held in Kolkatta on 11th May 2013

A Rugby Training camp headed by Mr. Mahamed Nawfar Ibrahim, Coach, Indian National Rugby Team was organised at KISS Rugby Stadium from 14th to 22nd April 2013. Rugby Players from KISS & Odisha participated in this camp.

Ananda Murmu, Keshab Bhoi and Deepak Dehuri of KISS have been selected in Probable India U/ 12 Baseball team to participate in Baseball World Cup 2013 to be held at Taipei, Republic of China.

Muna Murmu of KISS has been selected for the Probable Indian Rugby Team scheduled to participate in the "HSBC Asian 5 Nations Division II Rugby Tournament" to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 4th to 8th June 2013.

KISS Boys Cricket team (School Level) participated in the 9th P.V. R. Murthy Inter-School Cricket Tournament - 2013 from 7th to 20th April 2013. KISS won the first & second matches and entered the semi-finals.

Sidhanath Soren & Sunil Hembram will participate in 58th National School Games Football tournament scheduled to be held at Port Blare, Andaman Nicobar from 25th December 2012 to 4th January 2012 being organized by School Games Federation of India (SGFI).

Pupren Oram & Jhansirani Baskey will represent Odisha in Junior National Volleyball Championship scheduled to be held from 22nd to 28th December 2012 at Rajastan.

KISS Hockey team (Intermediate Boys) participated in Inter College U-19 Hockey Tournament held at Rourkela from 8th to 9th November 2012 conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha.

15 students from KISS have been selected to represent Khurdha District in the State Weight Lifting Championship held at Puri from 9th to 10th November 2012.

All Odisha Netball tournament 2012, organised by Netball Development trust of UK was held at KISS on 9th November 2012. In the final match played between KISS A & KISS B, KISS B Won the match and got the Champions trophy.

25 players from KISS participated in XVI State Archery Championship for all age groups (Men & Women) at Keonjhar Stadium, Keonjhar.

Two girls & a boy from KISS have been selected in Odisha Sub-Junior Kabaddi team (boys & girls) to represent Odisha for 24th Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Championship 2012 scheduled to be held from 20th to 23rd October 2012 at Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh.

Five boys from KISS represented Patia Zone at the U-16 Circle level Venoo Mankad Cricket Tournament 2012-13 held in October 2012 at Baman High School, Bolagarh, Odisha. The team with Dr. A. Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS (centre) and Team Coach, Mr. Rudra Jena.

Anjali Kanhar (9th Std of KISS), NCC cadet of KISS was selected to participate in the Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) 2012 held at New Delhi. She has also achieved 2nd position in Firing for Odisha Directorate on India basis.

KISS students, Bhagyalaxmi Barik & Mirarani Hembram have been selected in the INDIA WOMEN RUGBY TEAM to play for the Asian Women Rugby Tournament and qualifying tournament for Women Rugby World Cup - 2013.
